Tamara Berner Gracon is a managing director in KPMG’s Global Transfer Pricing Services practice in the United States; she is based in Mountain View, Calif. She focuses on economic and financial analyses to companies interested in establishing or reorganizing operations in other tax jurisdictions.
Ms. Gracon’s experience includes transfer pricing, intangible property valuation, as well as financial and profitability analysis. She has assisted multinational clients of all sizes in tax structuring, pricing, and documenting intercompany transactions to comply with U.S. and OECD regulations. In addition, she has worked with a wide variety of software and hardware companies and is familiar with transfer pricing issues relevant to the high-tech sector.
Ms. Gracon earned a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She also holds a B.A. in both economics and political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
She is the co-author of "Key Considerations when Applying the New Service Regulations – Treas. Reg. § 1.482-9T" from the Tax Director's Guide to International Transfer Pricing.
