Anjali Bhasin is a member of CRA’s Competition practice. Dr. Bhasin has over thirteen years of experience in conducting economic analyses of intercompany pricing of services and tangible and intangible property. Her engagements have included APAs, global tax planning, transfer pricing documentation studies, and audit defense in transfer pricing-related tax controversies. Dr. Bhasin has been involved in a wide variety of projects including intellectual property migration, calculation of buy-in payments, royalty rates, business enterprise valuations, cost sharing arrangements, cost allocation models, management service fees, and centralization of entrepreneurial functions and risks with limited risk distributors, contract manufacturers, and service providers. Her industry experience spans telecommunications, software, satellites, pharmaceutical, broadcasting, entertainment, financial services, IT consulting services, and medical equipment. Prior to joining CRA, Dr. Bhasin was a director in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ transfer pricing practice.
Anjali Bhasin holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University, an M.A. in Economics from Indiana University, an M.A. in Economics from Christ Church College, Kanpur University, and a B.A. in Commerce from Christ Church College, Kanpur University.
She is the co-author of "Using Advance Pricing Agreements to Mitigate Transfer Pricing Risk" from the Tax Director's Guide to International Transfer Pricing.
